THE BEGINNING
Mar Carbonell is a Mallorcan designer who, during a trip around the island’s villages meeting people in the fashion industry, discovers that Mallorca is full of old boat sails that nobody knows what to do with.
She decided to start working with an unusual sail weighing over 300 kg and it took her a long time to experiment with it and come to understand the material.
After a few months she started creating unique bags and numbering them to see how many new lives she could create with the sail.
This was the beginning of a project 100% made in Mallorca. A sustainable, exclusive and super special project.
